Parasite.

New Single Out 31 Oct.

Parasite — where intimacy is infection.

GG Fearn is a 24-year-old Welsh dark pop artist and Cambridge law grad. From Carmarthen, she’s been creating music since age 13, a multi-instrumentalist always chasing an unexpected sound.

Her latest single Parasite (out 31 October) is an exploration of cycles, power dynamics and dependence: dark alt-pop where intimacy mutates into infection.

This follows a body of work that spans her debut EP Black Mirror — praised by BBC Wales for its exploration of identity — and The Mill Killers, a full album soundtrack for the indie Welsh feature film of the same name. Her last single Permanent Record marked her as an emerging artist to watch. On stage, she has supported The Blockheads and Whitney Lyman on tour, bringing her cinematic pop vision to live audiences.

“A unique sound that will stand the test of time.” — Kevin McGrath, Welsh Music Prize
